Who's that knocking at your door?

An article about Natural Gas Public Awareness.....

WHO’S THAT KNOCKING AT YOUR DOOR?

IN THE EVENT OF A GAS MAIN BREAK, ALL GAS SERVICE IN YOUR AREA COULD BE CUT OFF UNTIL REPAIRS HAVE BEEN MADE. WHEN SERVICE IS CUT OFF, ALL PILOTS IN YOUR HOME WILL ALSO GO OFF. AFTER THE REPAIRS HAVE BEEN MADE AND GAS SERVICE HAS BEEN RESTORED,

WE ARE REQUIRED BY LAW TO RE-LIGHT YOUR PILOTS

When a gas leak is discovered, it does not always happen at a convenient time. There are times when our gas service technicians will have to knock on your door late in the evening to restore your gas service. All of our technicians drive Town of Somerville vehicles and wear Town of Somerville uniforms. They also have a Town of Somerville photo identification badge with them at all times. It is important to know that our employees are there to help you.
