Mr. Billy Stewart brings to the Town
of Somerville a wealth of knowledge, abilities, education,
and experience. He currently serves as a part-time building
inspector and performs plan reviews for the Town of Somerville.
Mr. Stewart is certified with
the Southern Building Code Congress International
( SBCCI ) as a:
* Chief Building Code Analyst
* Building Plans Examiner
* Fire Inspector
* Building Inspector
* Housing Rehabilitation Code Enforcement Officer
* One and Two Family Dwelling Inspector
* Rehabilitation and Preservation Inspector, Legal
and Management
He is also certified with the State
of Tennessee as a:
* Building Inspector
* Fire Inspector
* Tennessee Electrical Registration
* Licensed with the City of Jackson, TN as Master Electrician
Billy graduated from high school
in Huntington, TN in 1968, attended college at Bethel College
for two years, and Vocational School in McKenzie majoring
in Architectural Drafting, and ABC Electrical Apprenticeship.
In November 2009, the Town of Somerville adopted
The 2003 International Building Code in its entirety;
The 2002 National Electrical Code;

The 2003 International Plumbing Code; and
