Somerville is a close knit, family oriented community of about 2800 residents located in Southwest Tennessee about 30 miles east of Memphis.

We are a community rich in historical tradition and a great place to come home to. Over the last few years, our Board has taken a very positive approach about preparing for our future. We offer a full array of services including police and fire, but also a full utility department furnishing gas, electric, water, and sewer. We handle everything in house and have a more than adequate supply for growth in the future.

We offer both public and private educational facilities, low taxes, churches, civic clubs, cultural organizations and a multitude of community events geared toward the family.

We are a community that is proud of our history but also one that is prepared for our future.
